Your history dose for the morning.

On this day in 1915 Booker T. Washington dies in Tuskegee, Alabama. Washington was easily one of the top five most influential Afrikan leaders in Afrikan-American history.

Some considered him too accommodating to Caucasians, but his influence was still significant. Among the educator’s lasting accomplishments was the founding of Tuskegee Institute. He was only 59 when he died.

Contributing to our consciousness of the past, to inform us of the present, thus enabling us to more effectively fore see and influence the future.

Have a great morning.
