(victim blaming) is wrong, You should never keep secrets, it destroys lives. For the benefit of awareness, the victim who is now a survivor & demonstrates how difficult it is to have your siblings or family members try to control the information. it is beneficial to understand, rather than show no empathy and understanding on the difficult topic, You will find that many keep hidden dark secret. Many show hidden pain in the way of addiction such as drug or alcohol & even criminal behaviour etc but you will find many families are evasive and want to control or shut down what they have just heard, but remember it is your pain your mind your body your right, it happened to you and only you understand the journey. we can't change the past but we can protect others by raising awareness to try to protect and give hope to others.
Would you share your story with the Mind Over Matter Project about depression, would you do it in aid of suicide prevention? I did I spoke out and decided to be apart of the solution helping other victims who suffered at the hands of someone's behaviour. or maybe something happened that changed your life. Were you a child who was bullied?
I spoke out in 2016 about my child abuse and never looked back. The family may want you to be silent but they don't know the pain. The first point of healing is to face what happened by speaking out. to seek understanding. if we say nothing as a Victim who would be the next victim? With the knowledge gained through survival, I now go on to teach and help others with open talk therapy.
I am successful in what I do to help the community and I have used my past to empower my future. I successfully run the Mind Over Matter Project suicide prevention also known as MOM, I launched project in 2019
I am are helping the community with Recovery.
"In helping others it helps you overcome and to implement change." The remit is to protect the children and adults but I will always state, that no matter the age we are all someone's child we must support and protect our community,
Education is the only way to break the cycle. There is an issue within the community and in order for change, we have to raise awareness and by providing those solutions, we can make that change. in aid of suicide prevention lets start to network for change, come together to bring education and awareness and the solution.
