London's Met Police prides itself on delivering a first-class service to Londoners but I feel that now is the time for Black communities to abandon the term Metropolitan Police SERVICE when addressing or discussing their experience of policing in London. Use of the term Metropolitan Police FORCE is the collective reality and experience for many in the Black community and should therefore be adopted until such time as the evidence suggests otherwise. #metropolitanpoliceforce
