TIME
As time pushes forward into a New Year, one more drop of time enters the pool of our yesterdays and our yesteryears.
Like one solitary raindrop as it sails from the cloud. By itself it impresses not and it commands no notice, but as it acknowledge its place in the grand scheme of things and relish the strength of its individuality it becomes aware that it is with but one drop a stream becomes a gushing river, and that river gains its drive to find the ocean of familiarity and comfort. So too are the seconds of our lives. As the seconds tick by of the time spent we try to look forward at the bank of our investments, we look at the relationships and the depth of involvement. We look at where we came from and the road travelled to get to where we are.
We remember friendships gained and even friends no longer here. Bonds made and bonds broken. We reflect on good times passed and pray that we can abundantly enjoy more of the same in this year that is upon us. Reflect with me in one brief fact. When we smile at the things that brought us happiness we find them to be the times when we made through rough and difficult times. The things that tested our resolve, things that showed us that we are stronger than we think.
We slowly come to realize that time never ends and that it is in itself an eternity. Forever plodding, toddling, moving, and taking with it life and its tide of emotions.
Now is the time and the time is now. Let us go forward in selflessness and forget our selfishness, let us lift up our accomplishments ant put down our regrets. Let us nurture our hopes and resist the urge to cling on despair. Let us lift up our dreams and refuse to walk in the manmade nightmare. Most of all let us love! Yes, let us love each other into the truth and reality of being that only time can bring. The reality of time is that it’s always in the now, here in the present, moving forward.
In the end we pray that time won’t leave us behind in nothingness by take us into the universe of forever and ever.
