STEREOTYPES: How can we navigate the corporate and business world without
radically adjusting who we are?

Acutely aware of the stereotypes we global majority women are labelled with, it
can make it difficult to be our authentic selves.

To integrate is to assimilate and before you know it, you're looking in the mirror
asking 'who am l2'

The never ending cycle of trying to shape who we are to fit the dominant culture
is very rarely addressed. Instead, initiatives are targeted at 'fixing us' rather than
critically evaluating the culture.

Developing a diversified talent pipeline is high on the list. But re-hashing a
traditional programme with the word 'Black ' or 'BAME ' in front of it isn't the
answer either.

leadership development programmes.
