The Jukun Kingdom was established by the Jukun speaking people. The
Jukun people can be found in their majority in the present day Taraba, Benue, Nasarawa, Plateau, Adamawa, and Gombe States in Nigeria and parts of northwestern Cameroun. The formation of the Jukun kingdom was as a result of the coming together of hitherto separated Jukun communities.
