My name is Alexandra and I make hand poured, tropical scented candles which can help form part of a self-care practise, with the soothing scents giving you the opportunity to relax, be calm and bring peace to your mind. Melanin Minds also raises awareness for Mental Health within the BAME community. When we become a CIC a percentage of proceeds from all candles sold will go towards our wellbeing organisation. Also, our wellbeing organisation will provide support to those within the community. The proceeds will help towards sourcing wellness events, creating a wellness app to source qualified wellness practitioners and many more! The first signature collection has been created by paying homage to Black Culture. Hummingbird, Crop Over, Zouk Ti Punch and many more all resonate with life in the Caribbean culture and promoting self-care to add to your routine, making you feel like you in an exotic island!!! Melanin Minds candles and beautiful self-care gift boxes makes the perfect present for any occasion or as a self-love treat for your yourself and will leave you home smelling tropical. All of our handmade, strong smelling candles are made from 100% soy coconut blend wax and are also eco friendly, toxic free and gives a clean burn and they have a burn time of an approx. 55 hours.
